The DKSB was founded in 1953 in Hamburg and has over 50.000 single members that are organized in 420 local bounds. This great number of members made the DKSB the biggest child protection association in Germany. They come through for children and against abuse together with 10.000 volunteers and 3.000 employees. Providing help for people who have some issues with third party negligence of health or sustained financial damage. This help is not offered often. Nevertheless, a nationwide acting association for the concerns of the victims of violent disorders exists already. This association obtained great successes in this particular area over many years.
